George Teodoro
Renton, Washington

George (26) was born in Renton and baptized at St. Anthony’s Parish, the son of Dee Marie and Reynaldo Teodoro. Winning the Sullivan Leadership Award, George followed his brothers, Manuel and Tim, to Seattle University—where he began as a Biochemistry major but ended up with a degree in History and minors in both Philosophy and Medieval Studies. While at Seattle U., George became a member of many groups—including the Chorale and Chapel Choir, and Habitat for Humanity (through whom he experienced two building trips to Guatemala). After college, George—a Rhodes Scholarship finalist and Rotary Scholarship winner—did graduate work in Southeast Asian Studies at the Australian National University in Canberra. For the last two years, he has managed property in Seattle and served in the St. Anthony parish choir. A gifted musician himself, George enjoys classical music, baseball, science fiction, and Mexican Train Dominoes (an unusual game in which he has earned the name “the Dominator”).
