Father Thomas J. Reese, SJ, was elected chairman of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) on June 21. President Barack Obama appointed Fr. Reese to the Commission on May 15, 2014, and reappointed him on May 12, 2016. Read more
